About de Boer Law LLC
Mr. de Boer has handled hundreds of matters and regularly appeared in Small Claims and District Court in various counties in North Carolina since 2018. As of 2026, Mr. de Boer is fully remote, which means that he will not be attending court. The mission of this firm is assist and advise clients outside of court and prepare clients for court because most landlords or management agents attend court anyway. A lot of attorney billing time usually revolves around preparing for court, travel to court, and waiting for the hearing/trial in court (which usually ends up being pretty short). This is where the cost savings are. This firm provides an alternative and hopefully more cost effective approach and aims to improve access to legal services statewide in North Carolina, especially in more rural counties where there are less options. Ideally, clients will hopefully reach out before it is necessary to send it to court and we are able to get the matter resolved or, in the event that it needs to go to court, then to proceed with an efficient legal strategy. Of course, if you need or feel more comfortable with a local attorney, then Mr. de Boer can also assist with trying to find one at a reasonable rate.
